Pearlescent wings glistening in the sunset, the Egyptian Geese proclaim their presence. They gather the birds of the city to join their cry, filling the skies and surrounding the burning sun. They are offered gifts of golden reeds, winged amulets and elaborate carvings. From their aerial perspective they are all-seeing, all-protecting.
