THE BRAND:

Sabina Savage is a British artist and print designer known for her exquisite, hand-rendered illustrations, printed on silk, wool and cashmere scarves and limited-edition clothing. The brand is celebrating its ten-year milestone this year. Sabina releases two new collections per year, always championing animals and the natural world, while threading rich historical and cultural details through the narrative. Every product is designed, printed and made in England to an exquisite standard.

 

THE ROLE:

This role is to coordinate all Marketing, Press and Brand related activities for Sabina Savage. This is a broad role covering all communication channels within and outside of the business, ensuring that brand messaging is consistent and current to help drive sales and brand awareness.

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

Digital Marketing:

  • Development and implementation of digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Collaborate closely with the senior team to develop clear briefs, goals and budgets for ad campaigns, working collaboratively across teams to ensure that our direct marketing activity is aligned with key business goals and our trading calendar.
  • Monitoring of all paid channels and budgets - Meta, Google and any new channels - including implementation of new campaigns and coordinating with agency/freelancer teams where necessary.
  • Design and implement regular newsletters (Omnisend) to our subscribed customer base in line with the wider marketing strategy, ensuring that the tone of voice is followed through all communication channels.

Social Channels:

  • Creating a social media strategy to align with the wider marketing and growth strategy.
  • Forward planning and scheduling all social posting to be approved by senior management (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn etc) at regular intervals.
  • Implement all in-built shopping functionalities across socials (Meta, Pinterest, YouTube etc).
  • Engaging warmly and professionally with the community on social platforms where required, connecting the customer service team when messaging about order and product queries.
  • Weekly/monthly reporting on insights and analytics of social performance
  • Developing forecast assumptions linking social campaigns to web metrics.

Website:

  • Manage and regularly update website content (Shopify) in line with seasonal marketing calendar and new collection/product launches. This includes product uploads, product descriptions, blog posts, landing pages and more, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and SEO optimisation.
  • Constantly monitor website metrics to identify ways to improve the user journey, website rankings, keyword performance, and organic traffic.

Press/Events:

  • Handle all direct requests either internally or via a PR agency where needed.
  • Support with VIP and influencer activity; Oversee the coordination of VIP planning and seasonal gifting outreach.
  • Maintain, grow and update media contact lists, fostering relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure press coverage and partnerships.
  • Monitor media coverage and social media platforms for brand mentions, trends, and opportunities for engagement or outreach, and collate a record of all press features.
  • Assist in the coordination of press events, product launches, and influencer collaborations, including managing guest lists, RSVPs, refreshments and event logistics.
  • Assist in tracking ‘project' budgets for the likes of events and key activities, ensuring they are executed within budget and supporting the senior team to ensure invoicing is managed efficiently.

Content Support:

  • Support senior team where required with organising content and campaign shoots, managing a budget and negotiating rates with all parties involved.
  • Oversee the execution of content creation ensuring that sufficient content is being produced and all shoots are maximised to their full potential.
  • Work with internal teams to create a content plan per season, making sure key product is hero-ed and captured.
  • Coordination and creation of seasonal and campaign marketing folders/toolkits as required, adapting bespoke versions for external partners.
  • Brainstorming, pitching and implementing ideas for new and fresh content and marketing.
  • Lead on behind the scenes capturing of all campaigns, events and brand workings, including video and photo content for socials.
  • Editing content as required (photo and video), including adding logos and text to images and video to create compelling marketing assets.  

 General:

  • To manage the communications calendar throughout the year.
  • Assisting with Marketing copy and asset creation across the business needs.
  • Maintaining the brand tone of voice for copywriting across all channel captions.
  • Be engaged in industry trends and activity. Conduct research and gather information to support the development of the brand's marketing strategies, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices across marketing and communications.

  

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 2-3 Experience of effective social media and community management for luxury brands, building strategies to build brand awareness, engagement and community.
  • Knowledgeable of evolving and current social media trends, technology, and marketing opportunities and how to apply them to a luxury brand.
  • Strong sense of aesthetic that resonates with the Sabina Savage mood and tone, with a great attention to detail.
  • Experience using Google Ads and Meta/Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Experience using Shopify.
  • Ability to analyse data and convert insight into actions. 
  • Proficient across Microsoft Office
  • Proficient across photo and video editing software, including iPhone and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications or a related field.
  • Excellent organisational, efficiency and time management skills
  • A confident communicator with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • The ability to build and nurture relationships with key contacts both internally and externally.
  • A self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive projects independently.
  • Knowledge of the global luxury market (particularly UK & US) and an understanding of consumer behaviour
  • Team player with an inspiring spirit and hustle, taking a “no job too big nor too small” approach.
