£40,000 per annum plus commission

Sabina Savage is a British artist and print designer known for her exquisite, hand-rendered illustrations, printed on silk, wool and cashmere scarves and limited-edition clothing. The brand is celebrating its ten-year milestone this year. Sabina releases two new collections per year, always championing animals and the natural world, while threading rich historical and cultural details through the narrative. Every product is designed, printed and made in England to an exquisite standard.

 

THE ROLE:

Sabina Savage is strengthening its commercial team with a Sales Manager. This role will be responsible for nurturing and growing existing and new business nationally and internationally whilst ensuring that brand vision is represented effectively and that all wholesale accounts are supported to maintain and further progress their performance. Basic salary plus commission.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Executing seasonal sales campaigns and working with national and international buyers to build and place orders.
  • Pre-season preparation to ensure all required data is correct and uploaded into our systems, plus the creation of internal selling documents (line sheets)
  • End-to-end management of wholesale orders (order entry, amendments, OC, invoicing, payment tracking) to ensure they are accurate and meet deadlines.
  • Customer service functions including re-orders, swaps, RTVs and general inventory management.
  • Monitoring the sales performance on client accounts to ensure they are on target and assisting where possible if performance is not on track.
  • Adhering to partner requirements for national and international orders such as incoterms, shipping manuals, EDI, pre-ticketing and product information (collating imagery and RRP)
  • Involvement in planning and pricing meetings to ensure what is agreed will support the delivery of your sales targets.
  • Annual forecasting and wholesale distribution strategy
  • Reporting weekly, monthly and seasonally to senior management on business performance and new opportunities in an agreed format.
  • Analysing sell-through reports and proactively leading initiatives (e.g., reorders) to drive account performance and increase sales.
  • Creating annual and seasonal sales budgets and targets, ensuring that these align with the wholesale strategy and the Company’s revenue projections.
  • Driving the growth of the business across its client base by building on existing accounts and securing new key accounts. Ensuring that annual growth plans are created and achieved on all key accounts.
  • Attending production and logistics meetings and communicating any delays or issues with orders to the relevant clients on a timely basis.
  • Ensuring that client payments are being made in line with Company terms and that shipments are being processed within any agreed delivery dates.
  • Anticipating issues, developing solutions to problems and making decisions that are effective and timely.
  • Acting as a team player and an effective leader who works collaboratively with a ‘can do’ mentality, embracing change and managing it in a way that is positive for the business.
  • Executing strategies into tangible and actionable plans which will deliver the required results.
  • Managing the seasonal critical path ensuring all order and product launch deadlines are met.
  • Analysing the market and ascertaining adjacencies with the intention of improving our offering and ensuring we are well positioned in the market. 

EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years’ sales experience in the fashion industry within wholesale, either agency or in-house.
  • A warm, outgoing individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Luxury brand experience essential.
  • Great analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Financial planning and management essential.
  • A high level of organisational and time management skills.
  • Capable of making decisions independently.
  • To have a positive, hands on and “can-do” attitude.
  • To have immaculate presentation.
  • Advanced computer skills – Microsoft office experience essential.
  • Experience using Xero is a bonus.
  • Forward-thinker with the ability to articulate point of view and improve processes.
  • Ability to quickly recognise, diagnose and solve for challenges and workflow.
  • Must operate with a sense of urgency and have attention to detail.
