The Tsuba Print Pleated Trousers

The Pleated Silk Trousers are designed, printed and made in England from 100% silk twill. These trousers were inspired by antique Japanese Hakama samurai trousers, traditionally worn due to their wide range of movement for horseback riding and martial arts. The trousers feature a fitted waistband with side seam pockets and an invisible side zipper. Wide pleats are sewn into the waistband both front and back in a flattering position, and the hemline falls to ankle length.

This design features the intricate animal tsuba (sword guard) details illustrated within The Lunar Leopard design; Each tsuba depicts a different animal. The line drawing in this print has been left uncoloured, exposing the raw beauty of the pencil illustration.

Scarf orders will include a signature branded gift box and branded travel dust bag (for scarves 90cm square and larger). Clothing orders are packaged in either a branded gift box or branded garment bag, dependent on the item. Each piece is wrapped in bespoke ivory tissue paper and a gold wax seal.

Every order is accompanied by a printed collection book narrating the story behind your chosen piece, and detailing the craft, inspirations and themes of the collection.
