As I sit down to reflect on 2024, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible year we’ve shared. Ten years ago, I took my first tentative steps in building this brand, armed with only a pencil and a head full of stories. The proceeding journey has been an exhilarating rollercoaster, and I have been lucky enough so see the brand grow organically (thanks to your support), which has in turn allowed me to expand my product range, team and horizons.
Book: A Savage Kingdom
This year, I was fortunate enough to celebrate the ten years of my brand with the launch of my first book, A Savage Kingdom. Produced entirely within the UK, presenting this art book at The Royal Academy of Arts, surrounded by so many of you, was a moment I will always treasure. It felt like the perfect way to culminate the stories, learnings, and craftsmanship that have defined the past decade.
new collections
This year also brought two new collections to life. In the spring, we launched Mythos, a collection inspired by ancient Greek myths, which quickly became a customer favourite. In the autumn, our most recent collection, Escape Into Edo, introduced narratives rooted in Japanese arts and culture, drawing in many new supporters to join our journey. Seeing the enthusiasm for these collections, which are so close to my heart, and knowing that you’ve enjoyed them as much as I loved bringing them to life, has been one of my greatest joys.
SPECIAL PROJECTS
As part of our ten-year anniversary celebrations, I was thrilled to launch our first-ever Limited Edition Scarf, a piece that marked this incredible milestone. To see it sell out in record time was beyond my wildest expectations, and the excitement it sparked completely amazed me. Later in the year, I was excited to create the Special Edition Capsule, just in time for the holiday season.
New York City Trunk Show
Travel also played a part in this year’s celebrations; Hosting our Ten Year Trunk Show in New York was an unforgettable experience, not only because I had the opportunity to meet so many of you in person but also because it became another chance to raise a toast to this decade milestone. Hearing your stories and seeing your excitement for the brand and the new collection brought home just how far we’ve come and how much farther I hope we can go.
As we look to the future, I want to thank you for the role you’ve played in this journey. Every message, every order, every kind word—each one fuels the passion and drive behind everything we do. It is because of you that I have been fortunate enough to pursue this dream for the past ten years, and it is because of you that I look forward to what the next ten will bring.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your loyalty, your encouragement, and your belief in my designs and brand. I'm beyond excited to reveal what we have in store for 2025!
