The Birds of Innocence Pareo

This design is based on an antique embroidery sampler. It features an assortment of wild birds from around the world, all deemed to be endangered or threatened species. The birds are surrounded by a poem and other details naively illustrated in a stitched effect. The design is framed by a border of faux embroidery featuring alphabet letters and darning samples. Our pareos can be worn in a multitude of ways; Tied as an elegant beach wrap around the hips, knotted at the neck to create a simple dress or folded into a wrap top, these are just a few possible variations of the versatile pareo.
