Description
This Silk Velvet Dress is the epitome of effortless elegance. It features a simple round neckline, long sleeves and a straight cut, allowing the subtly iridescent print to take centre stage. It fastens with a concealed zip at the centre back, leaving the print to continue around the garment uninterrupted. The dress is constructed in London with an exquisite placement design, hand-felled hems, and is French-seamed throughout.
The Wolf You Feed Silk Velvet Dress draws inspiration from fraktur folk art including the amalgam of Saguaro and other cacti species growing from hemlines around the full body of the dress, and the bountiful hummingbirds hovering above. The Golden Fleece within this design was inspired by the art of fraternal societies, re-purposed to represent a reverence for nature.
